About
Lada Ladik is a visual artist and designer living and working in Northern California. Her style is whimsical with strong influences of folk traditions native to Eastern Europe, where she is originally from. Over the years, her style has evolved by learning and absorbing techniques from books, workshops, classes and most importantly - by painting every day.
In addition to original art and small decorative objects, she has a line of greeting cards and ready to display art prints. Her work has been in several galleries, gift shops and boutiques since 1998.
“My daily life is full of emotions and memories. In the silence of the moment, I paint my feelings and visions. When I paint, I try to show how intricate or simple my subject can be. It’s a process of many layers. I want the viewer to sense the passion with which I paint.”
